The accumulative effect of xray machines

This is what happens [the corrugated lines] when you cross one too many boarders and have to put your exposed film thru those retarded xray machines. Being 3200iso its alot more light sensitive even at the xray end of the light spectrum. Maybe I'll scan the crooked grind neg and post it.

Captain Mark and Boson Jim ready to set sail

Captain Mark - Here with mainsail hoisted, poop deck swabbed and a force ten gail about to hit on the starboard side. The halyards are battened down by Boson Jim and the ship is being readied for this new adventure. I cant wait to be on the giant vessel when it sets sail thru the heads... You scurvy LandLubbers drink some rum or get back on the lund!

MIke Martin Mt Wellington

On the way back down the mountain we did the 5km downhill which was amazing fun and feet numbing at the same time, on the last straight back into town I accidentally ran over my shoelace which wrapped around my truck and I ended up doing a full cartwheel to body slam on the road.

late night wanderings waiting for Trams

Lurking around in the shadows the other night on my way home. Geoff's shed copped some beer eyes. Trees are good tripods.

Im in a skateboarding mood at the moment. This is Billy Mumford in Milan - no fashion required here buddy.

Brett Chan gets a go

Some people could learn a lot from Brett Chan, he knows what's going on. We shot this at Ballina skatepark for an Element catalogue earlier this year.

Al Wilson - Comin' Up

This shot of I.G.D.D El Presidente' was meant for his "Comin Up" in issue #8 of FuknOath magazine, unfortunately for all of us fans the owners decided to call it a day - pussies. If you have never seen an issue a Comin Up is for those people who might 'just make it' in the skateboarding industry one day, such a shame for Al - Sorry bud you could have been someone!!! Anyway good luck on your new adventure.

Bomber Harris

This pano of Corbin Harris was shot on good old Tri-X400 in Tasmania.

The Beauty of Timber

My mate Lorne and I went up into to bushfire ravished territory to buy some timber for some reno's. Instead of being practical and taking the 4wd, we opted for comfort and took Lornes car. We really wanted to make out we were Ken Block and do some rally laps around the timber mill but opted not to as LumberJacks are gnarly looking fuckers. It made me want to come home put on the steelcaps and flanny, sharpen me axe and chop shit down.

Jack Kirk

Here's a shot from the Globe Gshock Sneaker Freaker party last night at the new Globe prem.

World #1, Renton Millar

I went down to Prahran today for the first time in ages and shot some stuff with Rentos. As always he was taking things to a new level. As we were packing up I asked if he could do an Indy air off the roll in so I could test the 1dmk4. I'd love to post more shots but you might have to buy issue #16 of the Skateboarders Journal.

Two pipes

Morgs on the Mega

This 'thing' was built for a car Ad out at Avalon airport, barely skateable because the transition was far too big to pump. We snuck out there at sunrise one morning to have a skate before the film crew got there.

EOS-Retardaroid

I was bored for a short amount of time, I started to talk to them but they didn't talk back.

Canon EOS1d mk4

Canon have been ripping rad great dudes and given me the new 1dmk4 [body on right] to use and review. Being the complete camera nerd I am Im fukn excited as my old 1dmk2 [on the left] is nearly cactus from 4 solid years of shooting sequences. I guess this is testament to how good these camera bodies really are. I'll post where and when you can read my scribble soon, hopefully it's good as the mk3 sucked.

Yellow Bird's birthday tends to do strange things...

Sims Lester Kasai

I've somehow managed to keep my board from 1985. Good memories of shredding with my friends back in Adelaide.

This is not as weird as it looks you know

This is a random out take I shot with my mate Tom Flaherty. Its not weird even though it might look a bit scary, Flaz is the kindest raddest dude around. It was entirely my idea to go the axe murderer for a magazine editorial.

Canon D60

Selfish portrait skating in a sun shower, how gayish...I shot this on a 6meg Canon D60 back in 2001 [I think] How camera technology has come a long long way.

Training

O'meally asked me to help him early one saturday morning when he was shooting for his book, he was stuffing around taking ages being all Irish and shit so I cheekily shot this with the ol x-pan when he wasnt looking...

Already Been Done alright

I might post the odd skate photo every now and again that wont get published for various reasons. This is Phil Marshall switch heel. It was a bit of a test situation using a new camera body that has a slow flash sync to see how it coped.

Raph and Tyke - Moonsy's pool

This was an outake from a shoot I did for the Skateboarders Journal. I like that you can just see the nose of the board Tykes standing on.

Polaroid manipulation

I did this sx-70 polaroid manipulation sitting at a bar which is just set back from the bridge one late afternoon whilst having a few beers with some friends. Good times.
