Volcom catamalogue
The pos/neg treatment Volcom did to the photo kinda reminds me of that shadowed TWS cover that GJB shot of Swank way back in the late 80's. just sayin.

Spencer Eagles

Spencer is still one of my favourite skaters to shoot, you never know what you where going to get - well you always new you'd get a great trick but man some of the shit he'd get up to on the way to, while at the spot or after on the way home would make you laugh your head clean orf.
An underrated all time Aussie great I'm calling.

Slide burnings
This is an old technique that was invented in the early 70's way back when Kodachrome 64 film was around where you actually burn the transparency with a flame. This shot of George Newsholme was run in a feature in an early Skateboarders Journal were I mucked around burning the crap out of a bunch of trannies with a gas burner then sandwiched them between glass and scanned them. If you're down to try it make sure you use a few crap trannies first, they go up in flames very easily.
