Danny Way and The Journal
What the hell, how do you say this? The gnarliest skateboarder in the bloody universe dropped by my studio when he was in town. Amongst chatting about his pet pig Ollie and a few other crazy things, we chatted about that bomb drop he did off the HardRock guitar in Vegas, he said someone made a serious mis-calculation with the plans and the drop ended 18ft higher than planned, he still did it first go, what a weirdo. This portrait is in issue #24 of The Skateboarders Journal.

Matt Mumford over Cuzza's door
Wall ride from a TWS awhile back. We spotted this crazy old derro factory somewhere off the Autobahn in Germany whilst drink driving. We were drinking coffee. It had natural concrete trannies up the walls the whole way round the building. It didn't take long before we noticed a small door that only a Krout Cuzza could fit through, with a little 'gerry' rigging..we made it kinda skate able, snapped a photo with the Blad and off we went to get some beers.

Some from the film vault
Here's a couple of 35mm film shots from awhile back. The Paul Machnau fs lip slide was from around 02 and was a one shot trick that was filmed live to TV that ended up on the cover of ASM - 1 go at an 18 stair lippy not bloody bad.
The Jason Ellis ollie to fs pivot was an old Slam cover from around 97 at the old Prahran ramp, what you can't see is about 4 kids from the basket ball court stuffed inside the fridge so it wouldn't move, it still moved.

Marty Girotto
I shot some portraits of some of the DC oz team relating to the previous posts. Here's one of my mate and amazing skateboarder Marty Girotto against an OG Bill Henson print. Nothing sinister here it just worked out this way. I hear Bills a weirdo but I shouldn't base my thoughts on this ..anyway whatevs Marty's rad as fuck.

Train man
Was on a mission up to Butterland recently and happened to come across this legend who works on the rail somewhere up the guts of country Vic. We discussed the possibilities of turning the ol Bedford van into a train car and use it on the dis-used railway out the back to go fishing down at the lake. It will happen..

Mouse angles
Whilst Instagram is killing off peoples blogs Im keeping it partly real.
Imagine If you were a mouse with a scaled down mouse type 3.5mm camera this is what you're shot would look like. Im serious
I think I'd prefer to be a Gopher for a day, they're pretty funny little farkers. Fuck it would suck tho if i got stuck a Gopher and couldn't change back.
