I find it interesting what kind of gear other photographers like to use wether its for work or on the side, so over the next couple of weeks I will post a few of my favorite cameras and I'll try and visit a few other photogs and snap their gear also, my plan is to get them drunk then steal their shit! Yes Im a f#kn geek...
This is an old technique that was invented in the early 70's way back when Kodachrome 64 film was around where you actually burn the transparency with a flame. This shot of George Newsholme was run in a feature in an early Skateboarders Journal were I mucked around burning the crap out of a bunch of trannies with a gas burner then sandwiched them between glass and scanned them.
If you're down to try it make sure you use a few crap trannies first, they go up in flames very easily.
Beardo's crooked grind combined with the Swedish camera and some Kodak Tri-x400. The backside flip is on a nice ol roll of 400 portra, both shot in Brisbane.
I bumped into this father and son combo at some secluded beach, the old man told me he was the gate keeper of the temple, funny thing was there was no temple. They asked me to dine at the restaurant I had to politely decline I wasn't too keen to eat from there to be honest. They were nice people.
I had an affliction to shooting photos of the mini servo's, at first I thought it was free piss...The affliction is - I'll be posting more mini piss stops soon.
I'll be loading some faux Leica DLuX5 out take snaps from a catalogue shoot I recently did in bali for Kustom which was nothing short of amazing. If you go to Kuta for one : beware of naughty Nathan from Alley cats bar he'll get you sideways drunk and two beware of all the rubbish and shit in the water...You might do the brown waterfall out ya bottom.
